OSHC Coordinator – St Peter’s Outside School Hours Care - Rochedale

We’re seeking a Coordinator to lead our well‑established OSHC program, licensed for 135 children and offering before school, after school, and vacation care. You’ll be supported by an Assistant Coordinator and a committed team of educators.

For over 18 years, St Peter’s OSHC has been a valued part of the St Peter’s Catholic Primary School community, providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children from Prep to Year 6.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
  • Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
  • Develop and implement innovative, play‑based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
  • Promote our service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements of the Role
  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
  • Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
  • Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
  • Child Protection training is required for this role.
  • Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
