NSW State Emergency Service is seeking a GIS professional to design, deliver and maintain geospatial solutions for the NSW Flood Data Portal Accessibility Gateway and Viewer Project. You will lead data pipelines, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to support operational decisions and community resilience.
The role offers a hybrid work environment with a base at Wollongong NSW SES State Headquarters and possible consideration for Rhodes at Metro Headquarters for exceptional applicants.

To be successful in this role you will:
1. Outline your skills and experience in managing complex and large spatial datasets (including vector and imagery), and utilising that data to create products across a range of geospatial delivery platforms.
2. Explain how you have supported the implementation of geospatial system improvements or the rollout of new features. What strategies and tools did you use to gather requirements and communicate changes with diverse stakeholders? How did you confirm that your communication was effectively understood?
