OSHC Coordinator – Good Samaritan OSHC, Bli Bli!

Join Our Team as OSHC Coordinator – Good Samaritan OSHC, Bli Bli! Lead a lively before, after school and vacation care program for children in Kindy to Year 6 at our licensed OSHC (up to 90 children). Bring your creativity, energy and love of child-centred practice as you design flexible programs that celebrate children’s ideas, interests and cultures.

Set in a purpose-built, stand-alone space on the Good Samaritan Catholic College campus, our days are full of movement, connection and fun. The team manages daily school drop-offs and pick-ups, shares healthy breakfasts, and gets hands-on with children as they help prepare nutritious afternoon snacks—turning mealtimes into moments of learning, laughter and belonging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
  • Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
  • Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
  • Promote our service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements of the Role
  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma / Anaphylaxis.
  • Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
  • Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
  • Previous childcare service management experience.
  • Child Protection training is required for this role.
  • Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
