A health services provider in Tasmania is seeking a Cook (Non-Trade) to ensure high-standard meal preparation and delivery for patients and community clients. The role requires effective communication with medical staff and adherence to food safety standards. This fixed-term, casual position offers a salary range of $63,110 to $66,049 per annum, plus salary packaging benefits. Applications from recruitment agencies are not accepted.
The Cook (Non-Trade) role is embedded within the kitchen team at the Midlands Multi‑Purpose Health Centre in Oatlands, Tasmania—about an hour north of Hobart. This small, close-knit crew supports an 18‑bed aged-care unit, four rural health beds, and an urgent care centre. Together, they ensure meals are prepared and delivered safely and hygienically, meeting each patient’s and community client’s dietary needs in line with the Food Safety Plan and Continuous Quality Improvement standards.
Fixed term casual shift worker position, workingas and when required commencing 1 February 2026 until 31 January 2027.

$63,110 to $66,049 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
