Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook/Cafe Attendant for the on-site canteen at MARS Ballarat. You will deliver friendly customer service, perform general kitchen duties, counter service, and basic food preparation (sandwiches) for over 400 staff.

The role is full-time with night shift Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 pm to 6:30 am. Applicants must have Australian working rights and be able to pass pre-employment medical and police checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality such as catering and cleaning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent service.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook/Cafe Attendant interested in joining our team on site at MARS Ballarat.

Reporting into the Chef Manager, this role will be responsible for excellent customer service, general kitchen duties, counter service, cleaning duties, basic food preparation (sandwiches) and reheating of meals. Ideally we are seeking applicants with Barista skills to support our busy on site canteen servicing over 400 employees on this site.

To be considered you must be:

• Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rights
• Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including a police check

We’d love to hear from you if you’ve had previous experience in hospitality such as catering and cleaning.

This is a Full Time role, you can expect to be working Night Shift - Sunday to Thursday from 10:30 pm until 6:30 am.
