Contract Coordinator

Employment Term: Permanent Full Time

Location: Hybrid Brisbane

Reporting to the Community Commercial Manager the Contracts Coordinator supports the end‑to‑end management of supplier agreements related to BlueCares community client services. This role contributes to achieving value‑for‑money and quality outcomes by assisting in the efficient and effective administration of procured client supports throughout the contract lifecycle.

About the Role
  • Support the organisational approach to outsourced client related service suppliers contributing to value for money and alignment with internal workforce strategy.
  • Assist the Community Commercial Manager and other key stakeholders by providing informed input into the design development and implementation of high‑quality contract management strategies, systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with UnitingCare Procurement to support the development and execution of procurement strategies for client related services and contribute to the continuous improvement of related policies and systems.
  • Assist in drafting tender documents, contract terms and specifications that reflect procurement objectives and meet BlueCares service delivery requirements.
  • Contribute to building capability within support functions by assisting with contract administration and supplier engagement processes, monitoring performance and supporting effective contract administration outcomes.
  • Represent the organisation professionally in interactions with external stakeholders maintaining strong and collaborative relationships.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the contract lifecycle including in the execution, implementation, variation, renewal, reporting, dispute and cessation processes.
  • Monitor and ensure allocated contract milestones are actioned by responsible parties.
  • Support quality assurance functions to ensure performance and delivery aligned to contractual specifications, SLAs and KPIs.
Role Requirements
  • Previous experience in stakeholder management and negotiation roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contract interpretation and effective contract management application.
  • Professional standard of verbal and written communication and experience liaising with senior stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business law, human services or equivalent discipline.
  • Experience in aged care / health care / human services sector (Desirable).
