Job summary

Brunel in Brisbane is seeking a Contracts Administrator to manage the commercial side of projects, including contracts, variations and cost control. You will work closely with the Project and Site Teams to maintain program integrity and financial discipline.

In this role you will handle head contracts and subcontracts, monitor budgets and forecasts, and prepare variations, EOTs, claims and payments. A proactive, hands-on approach and attention to detail are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator in commercial construction.
  • Experience across new-build, fitout, modular projects.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, variations, claims and cost management.
  • Confident working with subcontractors, consultants and project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage head contracts and subcontracts throughout the project.
  • Prepare and administer variations, EOTs, claims and payments.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage RFIs, notices and contractual correspondence.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • Work closely with the PM and Site Team to keep projects on track.
  • Support reporting, cost control and project close-out.
