Job summary

HealthcareLink Trust is seeking a Contractor Occupational Therapist focused on paediatrics in Canberra. The role offers flexible location options, casual hours, and a supportive, growth-driven environment.

You will deliver evidence-based paediatric OT services, collaborate with families and educators, and manage a flexible caseload with team support. Ideal candidates hold a degree in OT with eligibility for AHPRA, WWVP/Police checks, and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to apply).
• Interest or experience in paediatric OT (new graduates welcome).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid Working With Children Check / WWVP (ACT) or willingness to obtain.
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and access to reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to paediatric clients
• Support children with developmental, sensory, and functional needs
• Conduct assessments, intervention planning, and progress reviews
• Work closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals
• Contribute to early intervention and client-centred therapy programs
• Maintain high-quality documentation and reporting
• Manage your own flexible caseload with team support available
