nbn is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee supplier contracts across their lifecycle, delivering sustainable commercial value and ensuring governance and compliance. The role interfaces with internal and external stakeholders and supports strategic procurement initiatives.

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Contract Manager reporting to Executive Manager – Contract Management.
The Contract Manager is responsible for managing supplier contracts throughout their lifecycle to deliver sustainable commercial value. This includes onboarding, managing variations, negotiating disputes, tracking performance, and ensuring compliance. The role acts as a key interface between internal and external stakeholders and supports strategic procurement initiatives through commercial insights. Key accountabilities span business partnering, contract implementation and management, supplier and risk oversight, governance, compliance, and leveraging analytics to inform decisions and drive performance improvements.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in procurement or supply chain commercial functions, with a strong focus and proven experience in contract management in the telecommunications network technology category. They possess strong commercial acumen, contract and supplier relationship management expertise, and a solid understanding of procurement principles. Effective communication, stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to structure documents and presentations clearly. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, problem‑solving, and data literacy.
