The Koorie Youth Council is seeking a KYC Content Creator to enhance digital communication efforts. This role involves producing engaging visual, written, and multimedia content that resonates with the Aboriginal community. Ideal candidates should possess strong skills in content creation and social media management, and a commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth. Responsibilities include content creation across platforms and collaborating with community members.
Status: 12 months with the possibility of extending. Subject to funding and performance.
Location: Melbourne CBD + Flexible Working
The Koorie Youth Council (KYC) is the representative body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in Victoria. Guided by an Executive of 15 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and our state-wide members, KYC values the diversity and strength of young people as decision-makers. KYC advocates to government and community to advance the rights and representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people. By hosting events like the annual Koorie Youth Summit, KYC brings Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people together to amplify their voices for social change.
Overview
As the KYC Content Creator you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging visual, written and multimedia content across a range of digital platforms. This includes managing KYC’s social media presence, producing digital campaigns and supporting storytelling initiatives in line with our organisational values and priorities.
