Job summary

DAZN Group, including Foxtel, is seeking a Content Audience and Performance Senior Analyst on a 6-month fixed term contract in Australia (Artarmon). The role focuses on measuring and communicating audience performance across sport and entertainment content.

You will QA logs, validate metadata, and deliver timely audience insights with a strong data-driven approach, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in content, audience, ratings or performance reporting.
• Proven ability to manipulate large or complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel and SQL experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily quality assurance of broadcast logs across Sport and Entertainment channels.
• Validate and resolve metadata for programme titles, categories, media IDs and UHD before upload.
• Update as-run times for live sport including pre, mid and post shows on FSA channels.
• Workload varies with live sport events and data-quality issues.
• Produce audience metrics and insightful commentary by 9am on the day after major events.
• Work Friday to Tuesday, 5 days a week on a 6 month fixed term contract.

DAZN Group, including Foxtel, is home to some of Australia’s most compelling sport and entertainment experiences. With 12 dedicated sports channels and one of Australia’s richest content-viewing datasets, we connect millions of subscribers with the live sport, entertainment and news they love.

We are looking for a Content Audience and Performance Senior Analyst on a 6-month contract to help shape how we measure, understand and communicate audience performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven analyst with a genuine passion for Australian sport, strong attention to detail, and the ability to turn complex viewing data into clear, commercially meaningful stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily quality assurance of broadcast logs across Sport and Entertainment channels.
• Validate and resolve metadata for programme titles, categories, media IDs (including live/replay consistency for magazine shows) and UHD for sport content before upload to TechEdge (Pre-Run schedules).
• Update as-run times for live sport including pre, mid and post shows for all sport on FSA channels.
• Workload flexes with the volume of live sport and the severity of upstream EPG/data-quality issues.
• Produce audience metrics and insightful commentary by 9am on the day following major sporting events.
• This role is required to work from Friday - Tuesday, 5 days a week on a 6 month fixed term contract basis

About your experience

• Strong knowledge of major Australian sporting codes, including AFL, NRL, Cricket, Supercars and NBL.
• Demonstrated experience in content, audience, ratings or performance reporting.
• Proven ability to manipulate, interrogate and analyse large or complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel capability and significant experience using SQL or similar data-querying tools.
• Strong analytical and insight-generation skills, with the ability to identify the story behind the data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders through clear, concise messaging.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity, investigating messy datasets and creating structure where required.
• Commercial mindset, with the ability to align insights and recommendations to business and customer needs.
