Job summary

WSP Contaminated Lands Australia seeks a driven environmental professional to support on-site field investigations and contribute to site models and sampling plans. You’ll apply innovative tools to interpret data, prepare reports for clients and regulators, and collaborate with senior staff on remediation strategies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry or similar.
• 2–8 years of experience in contaminated land assessment/remediation.
• Enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to learn and engage in opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support clients on site in planning and delivering field investigations (soil, groundwater, surface water, vapour).
• Contribute to conceptual site models (CSMs) and defensible sampling plans.
• Use innovative tools and technology to collect, manage, and interpret environmental data.
• Prepare clear, high-quality reports and proposals for clients and regulators.
• Collaborate with senior consultants on remediation strategies, risk assessment and compliance.
• Participate in mentoring and structured development pathways to progress to senior roles.
