Job summary

WSP Contaminated Lands in Australia is seeking a dedicated environmental professional to join our team in Western Australia. You will be involved in field investigations, soil, groundwater, surface water and vapour sampling, and contribute to conceptual site models to guide decisions.

You will prepare high-quality reports, collaborate with senior consultants on remediation strategies, and benefit from mentoring and a clear development pathway toward senior roles within a globally connected

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or similar.
• 2–8 years’ experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation.
• Full Australian working rights and manual driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support clients on site in planning and delivering field investigations - soil, groundwater, surface water and vapour sampling.
• Contribute to conceptual site models (CSMs) and defensible sampling plans that guide smart decisions.
• Use innovative tools and technology to collect, manage, and interpret environmental data.
• Prepare clear, high-quality reports and proposals that help clients and regulators make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with senior consultants on complex remediation strategies, gaining exposure to risk assessment and compliance.
• Be part of a team that values mentoring and growth, with structured development pathways to progress to senior roles.
