Aurecon in Perth is seeking a Contaminated Land Consultant to join our Environment and Planning team. You will contribute to projects across WA, leading field programs and delivering high-quality investigations for contaminated sites.
The role requires a degree in environmental engineering or science and 4–8 years' experience, with strong data interpretation, reporting, and client collaboration. You will mentor peers, manage fieldwork, and ensure compliance with ASC NEPM and relevant legislation.

Plan sampling design and coordinate field programs
Lead field programs implementing soil,groundwaterand surface water sampling, including drilling supervision, testpittingand groundwater well installation
Coach and mentorpeers andfield staff
Providehigh qualitydata gap assessments, and contaminated landinvestigations,inaccordance withASC NEPM requirements
Develop reports to exceptional technical and editorial standard and the work collaboratively with the team to meet client expectations
Proposal and project management support to the contaminated land team
Degree in environmental engineering or science disciplines.
Relevant experience (4to8years) in undertaking contaminated land and/or groundwater investigations.
Demonstratedtrack recordworkingon contaminatedsitesandfield investigation programs, withpreviousexperience in the Resource Sector and Defence considered highly desirable
A strong professional work ethic and commitment to health and safety for yourself, your team,subcontractorsand clients
Detailed understanding of the Contaminated Sites Act 2003and National Environment Protection Measure and other current and emerging Nationaland WesternAustralian legislation,standardsand guidelines for contaminated land.
A desire to deliver exceptional client experiences and provide field leadership.
Strong communicationand collaboration skills.
Australian Defence Force baseline securityclearance eligibilityis desirable but not essential.
Currentdriver’slicense.
