Job summary

Emperor 3PL Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Container Forklift Operator to join our Hemmant team. This full-time role involves operating container handling equipment to move goods in our yard and maintain safety standards.

You will perform pre-shift checks, load and unload containers, keep accurate yard records, and work as part of a rotating shift roster when required. The ideal candidate holds a HRWL for container handling, a forklift ticket, a strong safety record, and

Qualifications

HRWL for container handling is required.
Forklift ticket is mandatory.
Proven experience operating forklifts, preferably in container handling.
Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
Reliability and punctuality; able to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Operate container forklifts and other heavy materials handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
Load, unload, and move containers to and from our truck fleet.
Conduct pre-operation checks on forklift equipment and report maintenance issues.
Maintain accurate records of containers in yard in consultation with the operations team.
Stack and arrange containers in designated storage areas, maximizing space utilisation while adhering to safety requirements.
Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
