How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

Our Adelaide Infrastructure Advisory business is currently seeking consultants and senior consultants with water industry experience. In this role you will play an integral role in the delivery of our investment advisory services to key water clients in South Australia.

Here Are The Key Things You’ll Do:
  • Work with our key clients across multi-disciplinary teams, supporting project development for critical water infrastructure investments and strategies
  • Manage complex projects covering economics or financial analysis, Risk and MCA analysis, options assessments, business cases and integrated advisory services drawing in the broader expertise of Aurecon
  • Investment Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of potential infrastructure investment opportunities, assessing their viability via business case frameworks, investment logic mapping and feasibility studies.
  • Financial Modelling: Develop financial models to evaluate investment scenarios, considering factors such as cash flow, return on investment, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, to bring together our design, engineering and advisory capabilities in the delivery of seamless client experiences.
  • Develop relationships with a range of clients and critical internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute towards the development of a pipeline of future water sector opportunities including proposals and pursuits for key clients.
What are we looking for from you?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging problems and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. To be successful in this position you will ideally have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Law, Commerce/Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Project Management or similar.
  • 2-5 years of water industry experience, preferably in business case development, consulting (including management consulting or general advisory) or engineering.
  • Strong communication, time management and organisational skills.
  • A passion for project delivery and consideration of strategic drivers to deliver optimised outcomes.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
