Job summary

Wavelength seeks a qualified Psychiatrist to join a private hospital on the Mornington Peninsula. The role offers a modern consulting suite, dedicated administrative support, and flexible hours with options for part-time or full-time work including one remote day per week.

You'll manage 8–12 (up to 15) patients daily in the sub-acute inpatient unit, with on-call duties performed remotely using the clinic software. Some ADHD outpatient consulting may be required, but not the main focus.

Qualifications

• Specialist registration with AHPRA, FRANZCP preferred or close to obtaining.
• Experience in sub-acute inpatient psychiatry is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a private hospital setting with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload of 8–12 (up to 15) patients per day in the sub-acute inpatient unit.
• Provide on-call duties via remote access.

The Position

We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to join a private hospital designed with patients front of mind. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice in a supportive environment, with access to a modern consulting suite and dedicated administrative support.

The role involves managing a caseload of 8-12/15 patients per day, primarily in the sub-acute inpatient unit. While on-call duties are required, these can be conveniently managed remotely using the clinic's software. There is potential for part-time or full-time work, with one remote work day per week. Additionally, some outpatient consulting for ADHD may be required, however this will not be the primary focus of the position.
