Consultant – Communications and Engagement

About the Role We are seeking a new consultant to join our Communications and Engagement team. You will be joining a diverse and supportive team of consultants, where you will develop and implement communication, consultation and community relations strategies for major infrastructure projects.

About You

You will also be passionate about shaping meaningful outcomes for the community, and supporting clients to deliver innovative engagement and communication programs.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to write clearly and edit accurately to publishing quality
  • Ability to effectively communicate confidently in-person to diverse audiences
  • A demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work cooperatively with people at all levels to achieve outcomes
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good teamwork skills and ability to work well under pressure, be self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
  • Strong ethics and an understanding for the need for discretion when dealing with confidential matters
  • It would be desirable, but not essential, that you have experience working on major infrastructure projects and tertiary qualifications in communications.
