PSC Australia is seeking an experienced AEMS/SCADA professional to help modernise control-room displays and operator visuals in Brisbane. You will work with engineering, control-room and technology teams to develop, review and rectify schematic displays, HMI graphics and dashboards used daily across the network.
You will configure and maintain SCADA/EMS displays, validate data presentation and support modernisation activities, with Monarch experience highly regarded.
Some of the biggest changes in Australia's energy system are happening behind the scenes, in the control systems and operational visualisations that help keep increasingly complex networks running safely and reliably.
At PSC, you'll bring your AEMS/SCADA expertise to a Brisbane-based consulting role supporting control-system modernisation. Working alongside engineering, control-room and technology teams, you'll develop, review and rectify the technical diagrams, displays and dashboards operators rely on every day.
Develop, edit and improve schematic displays, HMI graphics, dashboards and operational visualisations so complex network information is accurate, consistent and easy to interpret.
Work within SCADA and EMS environments to configure and maintain displays, validate data presentation and support the practical delivery of modernisation activities. Experience with Monarch is highly regarded.
Assess electrical network diagrams and existing control-room displays, identify defects or inconsistencies, and complete accurate updates aligned with engineering and operational requirements.
Collaborate with power systems engineers, asset specialists, project teams and control-room users to translate technical requirements into effective operational interfaces.
Contribute to display reviews, data and point validation, defect resolution, user testing and implementation readiness, with a strong focus on accuracy and usability.
Work directly with clients to understand operational needs, provide practical advice and deliver dependable consulting outcomes that add value beyond the immediate task.
You've built practical experience in SCADA, EMS or AEMS environments and understand how clear, accurate operational displays support safe network control. You'll be comfortable developing, reviewing and correcting schematic displays, HMI graphics, dashboards or similar technical visualisations, ideally using OSI Monarch. platform.
You'll also bring an understanding of electrical network diagrams, strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate confidently with engineering and control-room teams. Experience across display configuration, database or point mapping, alarms, testing, troubleshooting or system modernisation will be valuable. Relevant qualifications are welcome, although substantial hands-on utility or control-systems experience is equally important.
You don't need to tick every box. If you've developed strong capability around utility control systems and operational visualisation, and can see your experience transferring into this environment, we'd still like to hear from you.
At PSC, specialist expertise matters. You'll join a global team working on complex challenges across the energy industry, while having the autonomy to make meaningful technical decisions and influence how solutions are delivered.
For this role, you'll join important AEMS/SCADA modernisation work in Brisbane and apply your capability where it has an immediate operational impact. You'll work closely with experienced specialists and clients while continuing to deepen your expertise across control systems, network diagrams and operational display design.
If you're an AEMS/SCADA professional looking to combine hands-on technical work, operational problem solving and client collaboration, we'd like to hear from you.
PSC is committed to diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer.
Agency and third-party applications will not be considered for this role.
