Job summary

ADN Earthworks in Auburn, NSW is seeking a Surveyor to provide accurate surveying and set-out services across earthworks, excavation and piling projects.

You will work closely with engineers, project managers and site teams to establish survey control, carry out set-out and monitor pile locations, levels and tolerances. Proficiency with GNSS/GPS, total stations and Civil 3D is preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Surveying, Geomatics or a related discipline.
• Experience in construction, earthworks and piling surveying.
• Experience with construction set-out and as-built surveys.
• Experience with earthworks volume and cut/fill calculations.
• Strong knowledge of survey control, coordinates, datums and levels.
• Proficient with GNSS/GPS and total stations.
• Civil 3D experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks.
• Carry out construction set-out and patterning.
• Undertake piling set-out, pile positioning and pile patterning.
• Monitor pile locations, levels, alignments and tolerances.
• Conduct earthworks and excavation surveys.
• Monitor levels, grades and formation levels.
• Calculate cut and fill quantities and earthworks volumes.
• Calculate excavation and stockpile volumes using survey data and Civil 3D.
• Prepare piling, earthworks and construction as-built surveys.
• Process and quality-check survey data.
