Job summary

All Energy Contracting is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of major renewable energy projects in Queensland. The Fraser Coast Hybrid Solar and BESS project will be your first assignment, overseeing civil, electrical and mechanical works to meet safety, quality and schedule.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead Supervisors and Foremen, manage labour, plant and subcontractors, coordinate interfaces with engineering and procurement, and drive

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing construction projects in renewables, infrastructure or civil sectors.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site logistics.
• Demonstrated leadership of site-based supervisory teams.
• Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices.
• Construction Induction (White) Card and First Aid Certification required; driver’s licence essential.
• Valid Australian working rights and fitness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction across civil, electrical and mechanical works, safely delivering on program and budget.
• Direct and support Supervisors and Foremen to drive daily execution.
• Manage labour, plant, subcontractors and materials to optimise productivity and sequencing.
• Monitor progress and quality, implement corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Ensure works meet approved designs, specs and construction methodologies.
• Own site quality outcomes from inspections to defect close-out.
• Coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement, commissioning and QA.
• Coach Supervisors and report progress and cost-to-complete to the Project Manager.
