Job summary

WRB Group is seeking Machine Operators and Labourers in Queensland to drill footing holes, operate excavators and install posts on construction sites. Casual and permanent roles available with on-the-job training, development opportunities and a supportive team.

Applicants must hold excavator/skid steer/front end loader tickets, a valid driver’s license and white card; experience is welcomed but on-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Current excavator ticket, skid steer ticket and/or front end loader ticket.
• Current driver’s license and white card required.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team with strong communication.
• Experience preferred but on-the-job training provided.
• Exposure to the construction industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Boring holes to required footing depths.
• Follow project specific requirements for substrate types.
• Operate 5T, 20T & 40T excavators.
• Set up & load machinery.
• Machine maintenance, cleaning and quality checking.
• Ensure security of machines on site.
• Measuring and marking up site.
• Follow company health & safety guidelines.
• There is opportunity for training to upskill or progress towards Machine Operator and 2IC roles for the right people.
