Job summary

Batch Mewing Lawyers is seeking a Construction Lawyer with approximately 1–3 years PAE to join our Sydney team. You will work across front-end advisory and major disputes, mentoring with Principals, building client relationships and taking on increasing responsibility as the practice grows.

You will engage in drafting, contract review, project delivery advice and dispute work, developing your expertise in construction and major projects within a supportive, growth‑oriented firm.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years post-admission experience in construction or projects law.
• Ideally some experience in construction law, infrastructure, major projects, commercial litigation, contract advisory or disputes.
• Strong drafting, research and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across construction and major projects matters, including drafting, advising on contracts and project delivery.
• Assist with contract administration, risk and claims management.
• Develop direct relationships with clients across construction and infrastructure sectors.
• Collaborate with principals and senior lawyers for mentoring and development.
