Job summary

LEON - Cairns is seeking Builders Labourers to assist trades qualified staff on accommodation block projects in Cairns. Duties include concreting, carpentry, some plumbing and roofing, plus other general tasks. Must be reliable, hardworking and punctual, with the ability to follow instructions.

Applicants may need to obtain a White Card and a Working Safely at Heights certificate; Drug & Alcohol testing will be conducted on sites as required.

Qualifications

• White Card and Working Safely at Heights certificates required or ability to obtain.
• Subject to random Drug & Alcohol testing on work sites.
• Permanent full-time construction environment in Cairns.

Responsibilities

• Assist trades qualified staff with concreting, carpentry, plumbing and roofing.
• Support general duties on accommodation block construction sites.
• Follow site safety rules and instructions from supervisors.
