Job summary

JV Recruitment is seeking experienced Skilled Construction Labourers for a variety of commercial, residential and civil projects across Yatala and the Northern Gold Coast region.

With immediate starts available, you will work alongside tradespeople and site teams, performing general labouring, operating hand and power tools, and helping keep sites safe and efficient. Ongoing work with potential permanent employment is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' construction labouring experience.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening if required.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Construction White Card.

Job description

JV Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Skilled Construction Labourers for a range of commercial, residential and civil construction projects across Yatala and the surrounding areas. With immediate starts available, we're looking for reliable labourers who are based in or around Yatala, Stapylton, Ormeau, Beenleigh, Pimpama, Coomera, Jacobs Well and the Northern Gold Coast. You'll be working alongside experienced tradespeople and site teams, assisting with a variety of construction tasks and helping keep projects running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting qualified tradespeople and site teams
• Operating a range of hand and power tools
• General construction labouring and material handling
• Site preparation, clean-up and maintaining a safe work environment
• Following directions from Site Supervisors and Foremen
• Completing tasks safely and efficiently with minimal supervision

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 12 months' construction labouring experience
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Previous experience on commercial, residential or civil construction sites
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Good understanding of construction site safety procedures

• $36.67–$40 per hour + Superannuation
• $22.41 Daily Travel Allowance
• Meal Allowance after 9.5-hour shifts
• Penalty rates, including time-and-a-half and double time for overtime
