Kongsberg Defence Australia (KDAu) seeks an experienced Configuration and Data Management Lead for our Mawson Lakes Facility in Adelaide. You will oversee engineering, technical and contract data across the full project lifecycle, ensuring robust configuration management for mission-critical defence projects.

Role requires ITAR access and the ability to obtain Australian security clearance, with delivery across multi-disciplinary teams and interfaces with global colleagues and local partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in a configuration and data management role on Defence projects.
• Familiar with Contract Deliverables under ASDEFCON and lifecycle data.
• Tertiary technical qualification relevant to the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Register, distribute and maintain Engineering, Technical and Contract Data Deliverables.
• Lead development, implementation and management of configuration and data systems.
• Develop and promote configuration & data management of contract deliverables.
• Support configuration status accounting and audits.
• Manage program product definition, design data, baselines and changes.

We are seeking an experienced Configuration and Data Management Lead to join our growing team. In this high-impact role, you'll oversee the configuration and data management of technical and contract data across the full project lifecycle, supporting mission-critical defence projects.

As the Configuration and Data Management Lead, you will:

• Register, distribute and maintain Engineering, Technical and Contract Data Deliverable documentation.
• Lead the development, implementation and management of a KDAu program configuration management system and data management system.
• Develop, maintain, and promote configuration & data management of contract deliverables.
• Support conduct of configuration status accounting and audits.
• Manage and maintain the program product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes, and current approved configuration.
• Conduct configuration and data management activities in compliance with regulations, Configuration Management Plans and KONGSBERG management System.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in a configuration and data management role in a Defence project environment within Defence or Defence Industry.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle / Configuration Management software.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical discipline.
• Familiarity with the range of Contractual Data Deliverables required under ASDEFCON contracting.

MANDATORY requirements:

• Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
