Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced Concreter to join our Ipswich, QLD team on a temporary/full-time basis. You will work outdoors on site, boxing, pouring and finishing concrete and assist with formwork and roadways using returned concrete. Immediate start available, with 6:00am starts and overtime penalties.

Ideal candidates have proven concreting experience, strong safety awareness, reliable transport and the ability to work as part of a small crew in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in concreting, including boxing, pouring and screeding.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Own transport to reliably get to site.

Responsibilities

• Boxing and formwork preparation.
• Pouring, spreading, screeding and finishing concrete.
• Using returned concrete for internal roadway construction and maintenance.
• Assisting with other concreting and general site duties as required.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
• Following site safety procedures and instructions.
