Job summary

E. B. Mawson & Sons Pty Ltd is seeking a confident, motivated individual for a casual role at our Better Drive Wangaratta site.

You will assist in the precast concrete production, help with general production tasks and yard duties, and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment. The role requires a High Risk Work Licence for forklift operation and knowledge of concreting is advantageous; on-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Casual role at Wangaratta site with on-the-job training provided.
• High Risk Work Licence Forklift (LF) is mandatory.
• Concrete production knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up and produce precast concrete products.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with general production tasks.
• Perform yard duties and some heavy lifting as required.
• Occasional concrete agitator truck driving.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and teamwork; adhere to safety and quality standards.

We seek a confident, motivated and highly organised person to join our friendly, professional team at our busy Better Drive Wangaratta site in this casual role.

Duties include:

• Setup and production of precast concrete products,
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting in general production needs
• General administration tasks and yard duties including some heavy lifting
• Occasional concrete agitator truck driving
• A positive attitude, good work ethic and the ability to work in a team environment
• Total commitment to work safety and quality
• Excellent attention to detail with your work
• High Risk Work Licence Forklift (LF) Mandatory

Concreting experience / knowledge would be an advantage, as would experience in driving an agitator truck, but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided from our supportive team, along with opportunities to grow and develop professionally.
