Crédit Agricole Group seeks a Compliance Analyst in Sydney to support the Head of Compliance and Local Compliance Officer in executing the AML, CFT, and KYC framework. You will monitor typologies, review high-risk files, and advise on established policies and procedures within Australian regulatory standards.
Key activities include transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, EDD for high-risk clients, and collaboration with regional teams to ensure group consistency across APAC.
The Compliance Analyst supports the Head of Compliance/Local Compliance Officer (LCO) in executing the Branch's compliance framework, with aprimary focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Know Your Client (KYC)obligations.
This role is critical in safeguarding the organisation against financial crime risk and ensuring adherence to Australian Prudential standards. This encompasses activities across the different Compliance areas: AML/CTF/KYC, Sanctions, Privacy, Corporations Act, Prudential Standards and international laws.
You will be required to execute Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening and Compliance Control Plan in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements, as well as advice provision on established policies and procedures. Regulatory project management may also be required which will require timeline, action point driving and project governance facilitation work.
