Job summary

Optus is seeking a Complex Fraud Analyst to detect, investigate, and prevent customer, subscription, and network fraud. You will work in External Fraud Risk to identify emerging trends and deliver insights that strengthen fraud risk controls.

This role requires strong data analysis, experience with large datasets, and the ability to communicate complex findings to management. You will partner with stakeholders to resolve issues and contribute to fraud awareness initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a fraud, risk, investigations, or analytical role.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with large datasets.
  • Identify trends, investigate complex issues, and deliver recommendations.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications products is highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Complex Fraud Analyst, you will play a key role in detecting, investigating, and preventing customer, subscription, and network fraud. Working within the External Fraud Risk team, you'll leverage your analytical expertise to identify emerging fraud trends, conduct complex investigations, and deliver insights that strengthen Optus' fraud risk controls and minimise fraud-related losses.
