Job summary

Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is seeking a Registered Paramedic or Registered Nurse for Bankstown NEPT transport. You will deliver compassionate patient care on on-road transport, coordinate with dispatch, and mentor junior staff while maintaining registration and infection control standards.

The role offers structured training, supportive culture and opportunities to work across NSW with RFDS’s well-regarded patient transport team.

Qualifications

• NSW Full Driver’s Licence is required.
• NEPT experience is a plus, but not essential.
• AHPRA registration in Paramedicine or Nursing is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care across a range of acuity levels, ensuring clinical interventions are safe and aligned with RFDS policies.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and healthcare teams to support safe, timely patient transport and accurate handovers.
• Lead by example, mentoring junior staff and maintaining professional registration and competencies through ongoing education.
• Uphold safety and infection control standards, ensuring vehicles and equipment are ready and compliant with regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, using resources efficiently and participating in quality initiatives.
