Job summary

Queensland Government’s Redland Hospital in Brisbane’s Redlands Coast is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, evidence-based care across acute and sub-acute medical services, including stroke and cardiology.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, document thoroughly and escalate concerns when needed, while growing your clinical leadership through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Nurse with NMBA registration and current practising status.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, prioritisation and clinical decision-making skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Interest in cardiac, stroke and acute medical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Follow evidence-based practice, maintain documentation and escalate concerns.
• Grow clinical capability and leadership through development and coordinating care as team leader.
