Job summary

Mercy Place Mount Saint Joseph’s in Young, NSW is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for casual shifts. You will provide high-quality resident-focused and clinical care, working with a supportive team to uphold person-centred values.

You will supervise and lead carers and nursing staff, perform assessments, treatment and documentation to the required standard, and collaborate with residents and families to ensure wellbeing. AHPRA registration and NDIS Check are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold recognised tertiary nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated record of achievement and experience working in Residential Aged Care.
• NDIS Check is required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality resident-focused and clinical care using a person-centred approach.
• Effectively supervise and lead a team of carers and nurses.
• Get to know residents and their families and contribute to their wellbeing.
