Carbal Medical Services is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Worker for a permanent part-time position in Toowoomba. You’ll work one-on-one with older clients in their homes, supporting independence, dignity and connection to community through personal care and wellbeing assistance.

The role emphasises weekday coverage with no weekend or shift work, and offers development opportunities, as well as a salary packaging arrangement to improve take-home pay.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Experience providing personal care in aged care, home care or community care.
• Have First Aid and CPR certification.
• Possess an Open C Class Driver Licence and reliable insured vehicle.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card if required.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with showering, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Support mobility and encourage independence.
• Promote dignity, choice and wellbeing for clients.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns as needed.
• Provide companionship and transport to appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate service records and liaise with the CHSP team.
• Communicate changes or concerns regarding client wellbeing.
• Uphold safe work practices and high standards of care.
