Job summary

Mercy Health in Young, NSW is seeking a casual Laundry Assistant to perform basic laundry, ironing, sorting and redistribution of clothing. You will help maintain clean, organized laundry areas and follow the allocated schedule.

Success will rely on your reliability, resilience, and genuine desire to support staff and residents in the community. Experience with care environments and NDIs clearance is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Be compassionate and provide support to staff and customers.
• Communicates openly and operates as an effective team member.
• NDIS clearance should be evidenced or in progress.
• Willingness to follow cleaning schedules and perform basic laundry duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic laundry, ironing, sorting and redistribution of clothing.
• Ensure duties lists are accurate and up to date.
• Ordering and storage of contracted laundry as required.
