Job summary

Mercy Aged and Community Care Ltd is seeking a casual Home Care Worker to support clients in the Colac Otway Shire. The role focuses on personal care, domestic tasks, shopping assistance and meal prep to help clients live independently at home.

You will join a dedicated team, bring a valid Victorian driver’s license, NDIS checks and the relevant qualification (Cert III or above). Strong communication and flexibility are essential for delivering quality, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Current Victorian Drivers License.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
• Relevant Qualification (Cert III Individual Support or above).
• First Aid Certificate (Level 2).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A safe, sensible approach with a practical understanding of people’s physical limitations.
• The ability to be flexible and adapt to meet clients’ individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, domestic assistance, assisted shopping and meal preparation.
• Support clients to live independently at home.
