Job summary

MSWA is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to deliver high-quality clinical care and supervision for residents with neurological conditions in a person-centred environment. You will monitor medication administration, support onsite staff, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and dignity for residents.

The role focuses on nursing assessments, care plan management, and hands-on clinical support.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
• NDIS Orientation Certificate (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care while promoting residents' dignity, choice, and independence.
• Conduct nursing assessments and provide clinical advice and support.
• Monitor and maintain resident care plans and clinical documentation.
• Work alongside Care Support Workers to support clients with their daily care needs.
• Monitor medication administration and resident health outcomes.
• Assist with specialised care requirements, including nutritional and medical supports.
• Complete resident observations and report changes in condition.
• Collaborate with families, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
• Complete routine and adhoc catheter changes, catheter flushes and management.
• Attend to acute and complex wound care.
• Complete routine and adhoc enteral tube changes and balloon checks.
