Job summary

Lifestyle Solutions is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker in Forster, NSW. The role covers day program and individual supports, including personal care. A current driver’s licence and insurance are required, along with a willingness to work across varied shifts to support our customers.

Responsibilities include mentoring, independent living coaching, medication administration, and documenting care through detailed notes. Epilepsy management and mental health awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to mentor and develop customer skills.
• Experience in personal care and community support is advantageous.
• Competence in documentation and handover notes.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and skill development – guiding customers to explore and develop their interests.
• Coaching independent living skills such as cooking and domestic tasks.
• Administering medication and adhering to support plans.
• Completing clear handover notes and incident reports.
• Providing personal care when required (toileting, showering, feeding, dressing).
• Facilitating community access and participation activities.
• Engaging with customers and supporting social and cultural activities.
