Job summary

Mounties Care, powered by Mounties Group, seeks compassionate Community Support Workers to provide in-home support across Queensland, including Currumbin. This casual/part-time role offers flexible scheduling and meaningful work helping clients live independently with dignity.

You will assist with daily tasks, personal care, meal prep, transport, and social engagement, while maintaining safety and NDIA guidelines. A Certificate III in Individual Support and a Police Check are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) required.
• Aged care or disability experience of at least 1 year.
• NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain.
• COVID-19 vaccination.
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid with CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must have own car and relevant insurances.
• Dementia care qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accompanying clients during daily activities and errands.
• Food preparation and shopping.
• Assist in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing.
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes.
• Providing social interaction and companionship.
• Transport to appointments.
