Job summary

St Louis Care is seeking a compassionate Community Care Worker to support older people living independently at home in Unley, SA. You will provide personal care, domestic tasks, social support and travel assistance as part of a friendly team.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a current Australian Driver’s Licence (P2 or higher) and a Police Clearance. Training and peer mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Genuine care and respect for elderly clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (P2 or higher).
• Police clearance (no older than 2 years).
• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
• A well-maintained vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Ongoing training and support.
• Buddy shifts with a more experienced colleague.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal prep).
• Offer social support and travel assistance to clients.
• Support clients in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide.
• Be part of a friendly, supportive team.
