Job summary

Dovida Caregivers provide in-home support and companionship to seniors and people with disabilities, helping with daily tasks and more complex care. The role is based locally with a flexible schedule, offering in-house training and an Employee Assistance Program to support caregivers.

To succeed, you should be compassionate, personable, and able to travel between client homes within the city; a valid Australian driver license and vehicle are required, plus rights to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Have a big heart, patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
• Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships.
• Must be located within our Potts Point, Circular Quay, Paddington region and willing to travel a reasonable distance from client to client.
• Happy to drive in the city for services.
• Must be available a minimum of 3 days of availability during the weekdays (Monday-Friday) during hours of 7am-5pm.
• Desirable if you have a cert 3 in Individual Support or Aged Care.
• Desirable if you have had professional or personal experience in aged care or disability.
• Must have a laptop/tablet and mobile smart phone to be able to navigate through various applications.
• Must have a valid Australian open driver license, access to a reliable car, and have comprehensive car insurance.
• Applicants must have permanent or temporary rights to work in Australia with no restrictions.
