Job summary

Ageing Australia is seeking passionate Personal Care Workers to support older adults with respectful, person-centred care across a diverse community.

Casual or permanent part-time opportunities available; flexible shifts and a supportive team environment. You will work at our Christie Downs site providing compassionate care, maintaining independence and dignity for residents from varied cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or personal care is desirable.
• Qualifications in Aged Care or related field preferred.
• Willingness to obtain clearances (police/Ndis) as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents per care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mealtime support.
• Encourage resident participation in social and recreational activities.
• Communicate empathetically with residents, families and staff.
• Observe and report changes in health or wellbeing to clinical staff.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to maintain high care standards.
• Uphold privacy, dignity and resident rights.
