Salary

WHA3 - $29.11 to $29.41 per hour + 25% casual loading

WHA4 - $29.70 to $30.01 per hour + 25% casual loading

Join Our Team as a Community Support Worker

Are you passionate about supporting individuals to live independently and maintain a fulfilling life at home? We're looking for compassionate and dedicated Community Support Workers to join our team for the 2025 / 2026 casual intake and make a positive impact on the lives of older, frail, or disabled clients in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene, including showering, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide domestic support, including household duties such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Offer social support by helping with shopping, banking, and medication collection.
  • Support clients with mobility, lifting, and using mechanical aids.
  • Assist with self-administered medication, routine treatments, and special needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring clients' well‑being and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care.
What We're Looking For

Please note that this position is multi‑classed as either a WHA3 or WHA4 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

  • Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position (WHA4).
  • A strong ability to work within a team and engage effectively with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of people.
  • A caring, client‑focused approach that promotes independence.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and adhere to care plans.
  • Experience working with aged, frail, or disabled clients (WHA4).
  • Competence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic computer programs.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
