Job summary

Juniper is seeking caring Community Support Workers to join the Home and Community Care team in Perth's northern suburbs, including Midland, Jane Brook and Dayton.

You will assist older Western Australians to live independently at home, providing personal care, daily living support and social activities while maintaining wellbeing and community connection.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle required.
• Previous experience in aged care or community care.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication.
• Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care.
• Dementia care experience.
• Current First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing and continence support.
• Assist customers with activities of daily living.
• Support customers with medication administration (training provided).
• Assist with meals and domestic tasks.
• Provide social support and transport to appointments or shopping.
• Follow and document care plans.

About the Role:

Juniper is seeking caring and reliable Community Support Workers to join our Home and Community Care team across Perth's northern suburbs, including Midland, Jane Brook and Dayton

In this role, you will support older Western Australians to remain living independently in their own homes, assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and social support. You will play an important role in helping customers maintain their independence, wellbeing, and connection to their community.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive difference in people's lives.

We currently have a permanent 40 hour per fortnight part-time position available; the successful candidate must be available between Monday - Friday 0800-1700.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing and continence support


• Assist customers with activities of daily living


• Support customers with medication administration (training provided)


• Assist with domestic tasks, including meal preparation and household support


• Provide social support, including transport to appointments or shopping


• Follow and document care in accordance with individual care plans

Key Requirements:

• Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle (essential)


• Previous experience providing personal care in aged care or community care


• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team


• A genuine commitment to supporting older people to live independently


• Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care


• Dementia care experience


• Current First Aid Certificate
