Job summary

Continence and Nursing Care Australia Pty Ltd in Bowral, NSW, is seeking an experienced Community Registered Nurse to deliver person-centred home-based care. You will manage a varied caseload, apply clinical judgement and support less experienced staff while traveling across Wollongong, Wollondilly, Wingecarribee, Goulburn, and Campbelltown.

The role emphasizes wound and catheter care, safe nursing assessments, documentation, and collaboration with GPs and allied health.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' post-registration nursing experience in community/home-based care.
• Experience managing a varied community caseload with independent clinical judgement.
• Competent wound care and catheter care with documentation and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and care planning.
• Conduct wound and skin assessment, dressing selection, and escalation.
• Manage urinary catheter care and suprapubic catheter changes as trained.
• Administer prescribed IV antibiotics under plan and credentialing.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation.
• Educate clients and families on wound prevention and catheter care.
• Collaborate with health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
