Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver person-centred community care across Rockhampton and surrounding areas. You will assess and implement client care, develop care plans, and ensure safety during home visits.

The role involves driving between client sites and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must hold full AHPRA registration, have post-registration nursing experience, and possess a valid Australian driver’s licence with a roadworthy vehicle for work.

Qualifications

• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements.
• General nursing experience after registration.
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
• Vehicle to use for work, roadworthy and insured.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously.
• Probity checks as required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope.
• Consider physical, social and psychological requirements of clients.
• Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs.
• Ensure clinical quality and compliance standards are met.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Work primarily on the road visiting clients in the community.
