Job summary

Sutherland Shire Council is seeking a Community Property Advisor to manage a diverse portfolio of land and property assets supporting community organisations, public services and local infrastructure across the Sutherland Shire.

You'll lead property projects, leases, licences, Crown land matters and strategic initiatives to maximise community benefit while working with a collaborative team to deliver positive outcomes for the community.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Land/Property Economics, Property Management, Valuation, Planning or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing Council's diverse property portfolio
• Leading lease and licence drafting and negotiations across Council and Crown Land
• Providing expert property advice to internal and external stakeholders
• Managing statutory property matters and compliance
• Supporting sustainable use of community assets
• Building relationships with community, government and industry stakeholders
• Managing right of ways, easement transactions and road leases
