Job summary

Barwon Health’s Belmont Primary Care team is seeking a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to deliver evidence-based, goal-centred care across a diverse community. You will work within a high-performing, multidisciplinary team supporting people with a range of needs from early intervention to chronic and complex care.

The role includes individual consultations, group programs and opportunities to support students and junior staff, contribute to learning, and participate in quality improvement and service

Qualifications

• A degree in Physiotherapy from an Australian Physiotherapy Council accredited course and current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience, with the ability to deliver evidence-based physiotherapy in a community or multidisciplinary setting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, time management and prioritisation skills, with a clear commitment to consumer-centred care.
• A commitment to professional development, reflective practice, clinical education and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based and consumer-centred physiotherapy assessment, intervention and care within a multidisciplinary community setting
• Independently manage a clinical caseload, evaluate outcomes and contribute to goal-centred care planning and review
• Provide clinical support, supervision and education to junior staff and undergraduate physiotherapy students
• Contribute to quality improvement, research, service development and innovative initiatives that enhance care and outcomes for the community
