Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking an Occupational Therapist (Level 1/2) for a temporary full-time position up to June 2029. The role supports district-wide Home Based Therapy services, providing OT assessments and interventions for older people and adults with disabilities.

The role may be based at Canterbury Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital or Concord Repatriation General Hospital, and requires AHPRA registration and a NSW driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualifications in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Experience in community-based OT assessment and treatment of older people and adults with physical disabilities.
• Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to older people and adults with disabilities via the Home Based Therapy Service.

Remuneration: $1,522.06 - $2,171.40 per week + Superannuation

About The Role

This position is a district wide role and work may also be at Canterbury Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital or Concord Repatriation General Hospital.

To provide community based Occupational Therapy (OT) assessment and interventions to older people and adults with disabilities who are clients of the Home Based Therapy Service (HBT).

Ideal Candidate

• Recognised qualifications in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated skills and community based experience in the Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment of older people and adults with physical disabilities.
• Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
