Job summary

Kirinari Community Services invites Expressions of Interest from Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing to support community and home-based care in Adelaide and surrounding areas. Roles involve travel, multi-disciplinary teamwork, and delivering person-centred care to diverse clients.

We value licenced nurses with AHPRA registration, current First Aid/CPR, and 3+ years of nursing experience in disability, mental health or aged care settings.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and work across community settings.

About You

You will ideally possess:

• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with responsibilities of the role.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• 3+ Nursing experience – preferably in disability, mental health, or aged care community settings.
• Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary service with sound interpersonal, problem solving and relationship building skills.
• A thorough understanding of contemporary clinical nursing challenges in the community or home setting.
• Demonstrated experience in completion of client assessments and development of individual care plans.
• Working knowledge of quality improvement framework in health care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of the NDIS framework, safeguarding and safe care practices.
